Put an image from dataverse into a teams approval via a flow

Hi all,

I have a Powerapp which allows a user to upload an image for approval. Once uploaded, a flow needs to take the image from the dataverse table and be displayed on a teams approval.

Currently, the app places the image into the dataverse table under an image column. However, I'm stuck with how to attach/display this image, via the flow, into a teams approval so the approver can simply see the image and approve/deny straight away.

Any ideas would really help!

    @adamcusmans

    So, I think approvals use markdown, which doesn't really support inline images inside Power Automate.

    But, you can include it as an attachment....or use "Send an email with options" using HTML and show the image inline that way.  If you went that route, though, you would essentially have to recreate the approvals functionality...but it's possible 🙂

    Good luck, keep us posted.

    Hey @edgonzales,

    You're definitely right about approvals not supporting inline images for teams 😞

    At the moment I've worked around it using your 'Send an email with options' idea, which displays inline images perfectly! One thing with that is there isn't any size formatting that I've found but for my use case it isn't important.

    Thanks a lot for your help!

    - Adam 🙂
