Trouble renaming built in "title" field in Sharepoint with http Request

Hello everyone

I have been trying to follow the solution here: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Power-Automate/Rename-a-field-in-a-Sharepoint-list/m-p/367461to rename the built in title field that comes when you create a new list.

I get the error message that the field "Title" cannot be found, which I don't understand because both the internal and external name to my knowledge is Title.

This is a photo of my my flow so far

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Can you double check if your column name is Title, can you share screenshot of your list settings to double check that?

For me that seems to be the case.

In below url, put your <siteurl> and <ListTitle>, and paste this URL in your browser, and see if you are getting any error or output?

    https://<siteurl>/_api/web/lists/getByTitle('<ListTitle>')/fields/getByTitle('Title')

Thanks for the reply and help @annajhaveri

I finally figured it out. The uri in the flow written above normally works fine, but somehow my Sharepoint reverts to German language settings when I create a new list from base template in power automate. However, when I create a base list manually in Sharepoint it stays in English.
What adds to the strangeness is that all the column settings I could find in the list created from Power automate said that the column was called "Title" in English, including the URL which said... Guid&Field=Title.

Maybe I should have taken the hint when I suddenly got a error message in German and not in English..

Anyway problem solved, thank you for the help 🙂

    Hi ToFJ,

I am facing the same problem but with Czech language. I tried to change the language to English everywhere and also made the new folders after changing the language but I still got the error message in Czech. Could you please tell me what do I have to change to make it working?

    Thanks, Ondrej.
