Power Automate desktop Installation on AWS VM

Hi, we are trying to figure out is it possible to install power automate desktop on an AWS VM and perform some of automation task like downloading attachments from Outlook, Extract data, perform some Excel operation and populate the data to SAP. Also, would we require to install Power automate agent for Virtual desktop?

Any leads would be highly appreciated.

Yes, Power Automate Desktop can be installed on any Windows machine, both virtual and physical, as long as it's running a supported version of the OS. See the system requirements here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/desktop-flows/requirements

The Power Automate agent for Virtual desktop is only needed when you want to have Power Automate Desktop running on your own machine, but automate some UI interaction in a virtual machine that you connect via Remote Desktop Connection or Citrix. You do not need it if you plan on installing Power Automate Desktop on the VM directly.
