"It looks like something went wrong" message when accessing Workflow

I am getting the error below when trying to access the Workflows app from Teams. When I try from a different Teams user it gets through to Worflows fine.

Also, when I am in Copilot Pilot trying to added Flow step to a Topic I get "authentication failed" error. There is a button offering to contact support but it gives the same authentication failed error.

How to triage? How to contact support?

Thanks

    Hi,

Firstly, I am unaware of a domain called com.microsoft.oneauth, since it is in fact an app.

When they say contact support, they mean your own people. It means for them to go validate that you have a license to leverage that in Teams. Having someone else test is good, now you need to have your IT Admin over D365/Power  Platform/Or if its Dataverse for Teams for instance, to make sure to go and get you the permissions you need.

I cannot tell you as its someone internal your folks have to look at for you, and then if needed they need to contact Microsoft support, but it has to be them as you would not have permission (unless you are an Admin or your tenant etc) to do anything.

Share the error and the See more details with your IT Admin, ask them to validate your licenses. Ask them to compare against someone is working.

you are either not added to the security group for it, or the role is lacking.

    Here are some specifics

It sounds like you're encountering an "access denied" error with the com.microsoft.oneauth folder. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:

    1. Check Permissions: Ensure that your user account has the necessary permissions to access the folder. Right-click on the folder, select "Properties," go to the "Security" tab, and make sure your user account has full control.

    2. Run as Administrator: Sometimes running the application or command prompt as an administrator can resolve access issues. Right-click on the application or command prompt and select "Run as administrator."

    3. Clear Cache: Deleting the cache files might help. Navigate to `C:\Users

\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\OneAuth` and delete the "IdentityCache" and "OneAuth" folders.

    1. Update Office: Ensure that all Office applications are up to date. Sometimes, updates can resolve underlying issues.

    2. Check Firewall Settings: Make sure your firewall is not blocking any necessary URLs for authentication. Allow the following URLs through your firewall:

      • login.microsoftonline.com

      • login.windows.net

      • login.microsoft.com

      • secure.aadcdn.microsoftonline-p.com

      • aadcdn.msauth.net

      • aadcdn.msftauth.net

    3. Repair Office: Go to "Apps & Features" in the Control Panel, select Office, and choose "Modify" or "Repair."

If none of these steps work, you might need to contact Microsoft Support for further assistance.
