Error executing the API - Populate Word Document flow

Hi,

I am trying to connect set up this flow using a word document. I can find the document (.docx) which is saved on a SharePoint site but it won't connect to the data and gives the error, 'Error executing the api '/api/templates/schema'. I can see people have had similar errors on here but can't work out how to resolve this.

Thanks,

Rachel

    Hi @Anonymous ,

Please check this discussion, it is mentioned here that the file is recommended to be stored in OneDrive for Business. If it is stored in SharePoint, there seem to be some problems.

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/Word-Online-Business-Connector-Populate-a-Microsoft-Word/td-p/206836

When selecting a file, please keep the file closed.

In addition, I have a template here, you can create a word template based on this file. You can choose to store it in the SharePoint Library or OneDrive.

    Hope it helps.

You will get this error if you have ANY Rich Text controls in the .docx you select. Use plain text controls.
