Hello

i'm stuck on creating an Flow to achieve the following:

we need an solution to move files from one Folder to an Archive by its name, witch is a Date

Filename "20210329_File.docx" or "20210329_File.pdf" to > Archive if today ist "20210329"

it starts here: what is the correct expression, because with this the flow will run, but will do nothing ..

    Hi @MATUN,

Lowercase mm in the UtcNow formatting is minutes. Can you change that to

    utcNow('yyyyMMdd')

    Hi @MATUN,

Can you also use the Identifier dynamic content field from the Get files (properties) for the File to Move field?

    Hi @MATUN,

Was the expression result of your condition action true or false in your last test?

And are you getting an error or does it complete without any error? Can you share a couple of screenshots of the flow run which didn't work?

Specifically screenshots from the condition and the actions in your if yes section would be interesting to see.

    Hi

first i'd like to collect all the Items in folder

    MATUN_0-1617020260379.png

then i check if in this List is a Item with the current Date in the Name

and check if this is an Folder (i add this because of the link in post above)

if there an Item, move it to "Archive"

    the Folder looks like this:

all test's run with success, but no file is moved

    Hi @MATUN,

Thanks for the information about the setup, that looks ok.

However, I was actually interested in the inputs and outputs information of one of the flows runs which succeeded but didn't have the expected outcome.

Sorry to ask again, but can you share some screenshots of the details of a flow run action results. So, for instance from your test from 02:03 PM?

Below is a sample of such a screenshot of one of my flow runs from my demo environment, to clarify what I mean by that.

When you expand the actions you can see the Input and Output section of the actions. This helps troubleshooting what is going wrong.

    Hi @MATUN,

Yes, it looks like your Get Files (properties only) action doesn't return any items.

In your Limit Entries to Folder I see /Freigegebene Dokumente/Archive-byDate.

However in your previous screenshot it looks like that folder is directly in the root.
