email attachment to sharepoint resulting in files without extensions

Hi,

I've created a flow based on a template which picks up email attachments from outlook and stores them in a document library on sharepoint. The issue I have is that the files (which are CSV and 10Mb in size) are stored without a file extension preventing me from opening them with excel.

I can manually upload the CSV file attachments to sharepoint with no issue. Its just with power automate that there is an issue.

Any ideas?

This would suggest that the SharePoint 'Create File' action is receiving Filename value which doesn't include the extension.

Your flow should look something like:

If the file in SharePoint still does not have an extension (you can check the values passed in via the run history) then the source attachment must be also missing the file extension. If the attachment is always a CSV file... you could just hard code it:
