Cloud-flow export option missing

Hello there,

I have a simple problem. One of my powerapp solutions includes flows from power automate. When I want to deploy this powerapp solution to another environment it of course requires the flows to be in that environment first.

Now i want to export my flows in power automate into the new target environment. The option "Export as .zip" is missing though. I see the "Export" option but I can only "Get flow identifier" to show. Here is a Screenshot of what I expect it to look like and what it actually looks like

Expectation (both export options available)

Reality (only "get flow identifier" available)

Any helpers on that one?

Appreciate any feedback

    Hi @Justcru ,

A quick question - Which platform do you export flow? Power Apps or Power Automate?

I found that they have different performance.

    In powerapps-

    In Power Automate

    Hi @v-xiaochen-msft ,

I am currently using the make.powerautomate environment.

That should be the correct one, right?

The only difference I can see so far is that my flows are automated reoccurring ones and the one you are showing is a manual flow....that can't be the problem though, can it?

    Hi @Justcru ,

    Yes. That's the correct one.

Is the flow you want to export created in the current environment?

When trying to export a manual triggered flow which also is shared with me the option to export as .zip is available ... that still doesnt solve my problem of not being able to export a automated cloud flow

    Hi @v-xiaochen-msft ,

yes I created the flows in that current environment. I will change one Trigger back to manual and see if it changes anything.

    Best regards,

    Cru

    Hi @Justcru ,

If you created the flow in the solution, the flow was a solution-aware flow.

    We cannot directly export it.

Please take a look at this.

The correct way is to export the solution instead of export the flow.

    Hope it makes sense.

    Hi @v-xiaochen-msft ,

the first problem I had was exporting a solution containing the flows and trying to import that solution into my target environment. Error message stated "Your solution is using flows which are currently not in the target environment".

I deleted the flows from the solution now but I still cant export them one by one.

    @Justcru

Not sure will work in your case.

So, the solution where you have your app, click on the three dots, then click on advanced and then click on add required objects, so, it might automatically add your flow in the solution.

    Hi @Justcru,

To export a flow that only has "Get flow identifier" save it under a different name using "save as" option and you will see "Export -> Package (.zip)" option for the newly saved one.

    I hope this helps!

    Best,

    GS
