Add an 'Thumbs up' emoji to a posted Teams message

I have various flows that post messages to a Teams channel.  These messages are for actions to be taken.

At present, when I have completed an action, I have to manually add a thumbs up emoji to say that the action has been completed.

Is there a way, in power automate, to add the emoji when to a specific teams message, when a task has been completed?  The tasks that I have to do a done via Power Automate.  I know that I can capture the message ID from when the message is generated.

Thanks in Advance.

    As of today (August 22, 2024), we don't have a predefined action to set an emoji on a message in a Team's channel. However, you can use the Microsoft Graph API to add a reaction to a message in a channel.

    To do this, use the Send an HTTP request to Microsoft Graph action. Since it's a RestApi template, you will need to specify following configuration on your own:

    URI: https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/teams/{teamsId}/channels/{channelId}/messages/{messageId}/setReaction
    Method: POST
    Body:
    { "reactionType": "👍" }

    Note: Replace {teamsId},{channelId},and {messageId} placeholder with actual values.
