Question about using Power Automate in Macro-enabled Excel file

Hello, I am new to Power Automate (PA) and would like to know if the following situation is possible.

On an Excel file, I have a form that has a macro that communicate with a SQL DB to auto-populate certain fields when given a Case ID#. Then the user manually fills out the rest of the form. Is it possible to have a ‘button’ when pressed, triggers a PA flow that takes a HTML copy of the form and then email it to a designated inbox?

If so, I would greatly appreciate some reference links to help me create this flow. Please let me know. Thank you.

My recommendation is replace the Excel form with a Power App Form. Then you can easily communicate with your SQL DB.

If you still need the Excel file then you can have the Power App update or Read from Excel as well. You can also get the App to email.

Thank you for your reply. In regards to the second option of having the PowerApp read the Excel file. So I am thinking after the user completes the form, click on the hyperlink to the PowerApp that reads the data and then email it. Would the Excel data connection within the PowerApp need to be refreshed manually or is it live?

Also, would I need a Premium account to use Excel Online (Business) connector?

The Power App connection is live update to the Table. Here is some links that can help show you how to do it.

Note - You need to store the Excel in OneDrive or SharePoint.

No you don't need a premium license for Excel.
