Approve/Reject buttons not working and outcome not updating

I have created a flow to approve or reject requests. when i did flow checker there were no errors. when i test it, the approve/reject buttons do not seem to work. it says "success" but it is not sending the approve/reject emails or updating the outcome in the SharePoint list.

What kind of approval scenario is this ?
Everyone must approve or first to respond
How are the SP columns being updated

The approval action doesn't automatically update the SharePoint list. You have to evaluate the response that comes back and update the list using a seperate action. Could you post a picture of your Flow and we can try to help.

thank you for your reply. it is first to respond. I thought i had set it to update the SP columns with the outcome which i assumed was "approved" or "rejected"

Outcome has to be checked agiant "Approve" or "Reject"
not approved or rejected

Please test with the new values

I selected "outcome" to put into the SP list, not a value. Would this work? thanks.

Yes Outcome would be a string in this scenario

@RezaDorrani do i need to define it somewhere else as approve or reject? I used the outcome from "update item" thanks again for your help with this.

Outcome will hold the response of the approver
If you need to store this information in the SP list item
Then use Update Item action and set the column to dynamic content "Outcome"
