Post a message or receive a notification when bulletin is posted in MS teams channel

Hello,

We have enabled the Bulletins App within our MS Team channel. When a Bulletin is posted we want the MS Team channel members to be notified that there is a new bulletin for them to read. This can either be by a chat message appearing in the general channel of the team or a notification in the activity feed.

There is a help doc for sending out an email but we would prefer for this to occur within MS Teams instead of adding more emails to our employees inbox.

Any help with how to build this flow would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

    Hi @nt07

You can use the same flow used in the help doc, and replacing the action "send an email" by "post a feed notification", for instance:

    Hope it helps!

I am trying the steps outlines here and the flow fails with the "recipient" information. I have tried "Mail", the teams email account, and my email account.

@fchopo, I was able to get this to work, however it only works when I post new bulletins. Is there another step so this occurs with any user that adds a bulletin?

Can you please share how you got this to work? I'm having the same issue of failing with the recipient field. I've tried everything in that field and keep getting an error.

Can you give a step by step how to get to this point please. Never done this so I’m clueless. Thank you.
