Hi To All,

I'm new in power automate. I've created a list Content Scheduler with Approver template. I'm creating a flow wherein it will trigger Start and Wait action approval and pass the result to   Outcome  and Update SharePoint item 'Approval Status' column. however I cannot see this from the the update item action. I'm not sure if I'm missing something in my flow.  Your assistance will be much appreciated Thank you in advanced

    Hi @vicsaisan

As you have selected a particular view so the flow will show columns limited to that view.

Either you add Status column in "Custom View" or clear the 'Limit Columns by View' parameter value as shown below:

Hello Manish Solanki, Thank you for prompt support. I 've cleared the Limit Columns by View unfortunately nothing has changed see below.  also I already have the Approve Status column added in my Custom view somehow it still not appearing in the update item action. see below 😞

    Hi @vicsaisan

As per my knowledge, it is not possible to set the status for out of the box document approval column. You need to create a custom column and pass the value from the outcome of approval action. My apologies for not understanding your post.

    Hi @vicsaisan

The above example is from custom SharePoint list with custom 'Approval Status' choice column. I was talking about the out of the box content approval setting for document library which is available under "Versioning Settings":

You can create a custom choice column in document library to store approval outcome, but it will be different from status shown for content approval.
