Building/editing flow infuriatingly slow or keeps freezing then not responding

Hi all

I have built a flow following one of the template flow processes and then adding a few extra bits in at the end.

When a new response is submitted -> Get response details -> Start an approval -> If approved add a row to spreadsheet -> Send emails (additional conditions added in as row line quite complex to decipher for flow)

-> If rejected add a row to a spreadsheet

The rejection flow worked and continues to work perfectly fine and still follows the automatic process.

However, the approved flow no longer works. I accidentally edited some of the previous rows in the "Approved" spreadsheet meaning that the "add a row" is now getting the following error and therefore the emails sent from this spreadsheet are then not being sent.

I have tried to edit the flow itself but when I open up the action that is broken it just opens up and says Loading and then the page becomes unresponsive and I have to close it down. Or, on some occasions I cannot even open anything past the conditions as it crashes and freezes and becomes unresponsive or times out. flow fail.png

I have tried to rebuild the flow from scratch and I get the same issues where the page becomes unresponsive - or on Edge it says that there are scripts that aren't working.

It is really infuriating as when the flow worked, it worked perfectly, and now there seems to be no way around recreating it as I cannot seem to fix the original flow and I cannot create a replica.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

NB: I have tried editing the flow using Edge, Chrome and the powerautomate app on iPhone.

Hi @JMee1, I suspect it might be because your Condition should be Outcome is equal to Approve, not Response is equal to Approve. Response was used in an earlier version of the approvals. The same is also true for Start an approval, instead use Start and wait for an approval.

Oh my god - you are an absolute star!

I haven't managed to edit the original flow still, but this at least allowed me to rebuild a new one and it works!

Thank you for saving me from insanity!!!!
