Hi,

I am working on flow where I am limiting the number of runs of a flow for that I have added a trigger condition

equals(triggerOutputs()?['body/Editor/Email'],'username@domain.com')

and other flow

equals(triggerBody()?['body/Editor/Email'],'username@domain.com')

this is working in both the cases so I am confused what's the difference between the triggerOutputs() and triggerBody() and which one should be used?

    @SH3R I am not 100% sure but from the top of head triggerBody()?[‘UserEmail’]  and for the triggerOutputs()?[‘body/UserEmail’] and it is just related to syntax difference.

    I read an article around this topic a sometime back. I will hunt it down for you from my LinkedIn feed.

    Hello,

    In resume triggerBody() is used when we want to fetch attributes from the body of the trigger and triggerOutputs() is used whenever you need to access anything from within the body as well as some info from the header as well as shown.

    This article explain the differences and give an example that will help you to understand better: https://d365demystified.com/2020/09/06/using-triggerbody-triggeroutput-to-read-cds-trigger-metadata-attributes-in-a-flow-power-automate/
