Site Pages - set custom permission

I can't find a trigger when a new site page is created but is there another way to change the permission on a site page using Power Automate?

We are using SharePoint as our intranet site and various program areas create their own pages.  We'd like to set the permission to only allow specific SharePoint group editing rights to their respective pages and hoping this can be done automatically via Power Automate.  If not possible is there a way to set permissions on all site pages with the same category (custom column) via Power Shell?

    Hi @Tamras,

You can use the when a file is created (properties only) trigger action and use the Site Pages library as a custom value in the Library Name dropdown. After that you can use a stop sharing an item or file and a grant access to an item or a folder actions to set the custom permissions.

Alternatively, you could also use Send an HTTP request to SharePoint actions for setting the permissions as well. That one is probably easier if you want to add a SharePoint group.

Below is an example (with the stop sharing and grant access type of actions)

@Expiscornovus  Thank you. I checked that trigger too but didn't go further after not seeing "Site Pages" as an option. I always forget to try entering 'custom values'
