email to yammer post delays

Using the existing template for Outlook Message -> Yammer post or building my own, there seems to be a delay of around 5 minutes when the Flow is run.

Basically what we want to do is when we receive an email from a specific email address(which has been set up in the flow) to post to Yammer immediately as we want to use this for monitoring alerts that come in to the mailbox.

We can get this working but the flow will run every 5 minutes based on testing, meaning if there have been 3 emails in the 5 minute frame it will post all 3 at the same time.

Is there a way to reduce this delay to be immediate or is it by design?

    Hi @Hoche123,

Do you mean that your flow would spend almost 5 minutes to trigger?

Further, which license does your Microsoft Flow account belong to?

Flow would have its only trigger intervals, more details about limits of a flow run, please read the article as below:

    Run duration and retention

The Maximum flow frequency of the Plans that your Microsoft Flow account belongs to would take effect on the flow’s trigger intervals. More details about Plans of Microsoft Flow, please check the following article:

    https://preview.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/

In addition, the trigger would have its own limits, you may take a search under the connector list to check if there are any limits listed for the trigger you used.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/index

    Best regards,

    Kris

Awesome thanks. Trying to find this information is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. 🙂
