Hello guys I'm trying to create a flow where I have an Excel file in sharepoint and the flow inserts a row to the table then get the file content and send it as an attachment in an email. My problem is that when it get the file content from the file in sharepoint it doesn't have the latest update. Here are some Screenshots of my flow:

    Hi @Anonymous,

According to your description, I created a similar flow with you to test this issue. I got the same issue you mentioned. Though the row had been added to the table, action Get file content couldn’t get the updated contents.

Then I tried to add an action Delay before the action Get file content. When trigger the flow from PowerApps button, it was able to send an email with the updated info.

I assume that the Get file content action runs directly once the Add a row into a table completed. So it is not able to get the updated info from the table.

Please take the following screenshot for a reference and try again with it.

    Hello all,

I know this is a very old thread, but I am also having the same issues and is currently using the delay solution mention by @v-yamao-msft,

The problem now is I've added a 20 second delay after adding 5 rows into the excel file and the get file content could only get 3 rows in the attachment. If I increase the delay duration it would affect the user's experience. Is there another workaround or solution for this?

    Thanks before,

I have the same issue, added 30 second delay still misses ~60 added rows.  What is the reason for Get File Contents not being able to grab the full contents of what was just updated by the Flow?  Even after a 30 second pause?

    Hi @ACPriebe ,

I think the amount of delay should be longer parallel to the rows added. I'm not sure why but it seems to be a delay in the rows added to excel (even after the action returns successful) and when the get file content action is running will only get a certain number of rows.

For my case, I switched to sharing to users the link to the excel file rather than the excel file itself.

Dear All, same issue here. I'm using "Get File Content using path" just returns the first 50 rows out of 100 rows (with Delay 30seconds). I have also tried to use "Run a ChildFlow" for trigger the "Get File Content using path" in another flow. The issue persists. Any workaround on this?

Instead of Delay, try to refresh the excel file by running script, it is worked for me, try and tweet if resolved.

    ArunArun,

You found a gem.  I tested and it works, successfully shaving off the 2 minutes I had in place to avoid data loss.

    Thanks!

I am not able to see Excel Online (Business) - [Run Script] in my GCC environment. Has it not been made public in GCC environments?
