'For a selected item' trigger being very unstable

Hi Microsoft Flow Community,

I have problems with Flows with 'For a selected item' as trigger being very unstable.

We use it in a SharePoint document library, but sometimes it ends up that the Flows made are not visible and can be selected on the files so it cannot be started.

Right now I am testing a solution for a customer, but from time to time nothing works and all the Flows that need to be selectable on elements just disappear.

I've deleted all Flows and now it's possible to get a Flow visible again, but it's not clear what makes the difference and what's wrong when they're not shown.

Does anyone have experienced the same thing and know about a solution?

Are there any conditions / assumptions that need to be in a certain way?

BR,
Michael

    Hi @MILM_DK,

I did a test on my side and did not meet the problem of the instability of the trigger you mentioned.

You could try to create a similar Flow like following steps.

Select "create from templates", type "for a selected file" in the search box, and then use a template called "Complete a custom action for the selected file".

Add the action you want to execute inside, and change the name of the Flow to the desired name so that you could see and use it in the SharePoint library.

    Hi v-bacao-msft,

It´s a very good tip and made it work for me. The 'Library Name' also showed up and makes a lot more sense when working with files and not only list items.
    - Thanks for your help!
