Hi Everyone,

I am creating Folder inside the Document Library of SharePoint using Microsoft FLOW but after creating Folder I wanted to set the permissions to that Folder to specific Groups.

So, can anyone please help me to set the folder access permission to specific Groups using MS FLOW? Means, simply i should be able to share that folder to specific groups?

Thanks in Advance.

Thanks!

Rocky

    Hi @Rocky1,

It might be achieved by using Send an HTTP request to SharePoint action.

There is a blog on how to assign unique permissions to a document with the new send an HTTP request to SharePoint action:

    https://sergeluca.wordpress.com/2018/05/03/assign-unique-permissions-to-a-document-with-the-new-send-an-http-request-to-sharepoint-action-how-to-use-the-sharepoint-rest-api-in-flow/

Please check it for a reference.

Please let me know if you need more help.

    Best regards,

    Mabel

@Rocky1  If you got your flow to update the folder permissions, I wonder if you'd post your solution here? The referenced site talks a lot about lists and granting specific access to a list item to a specific user, but not changing the permission for a team group to a sharepoint folder

I second that - solid swing and a miss on that one.
