Microsoft Forms , Flow and HTTP Post request

Hello All,

I am learning MS Flow with basic setup: a Microsoft Form is submitted and its data is sent to another server with an HTTP POST request.

Wierdly the POST data seems to to being sent with the request.

From the other side (server), I get no data at all though when debugging in Flow it says that all the data has been sent.

This has been driving crazy for the last few days.

Please see the attached screens, if you can spot anything I m doing wrong.

    Hi @idris,

After the HTTP action, please add a Compose action to see if you could get the Body of the HTTP action.

Please make sure the Uri you provided allows you post a message.

Please take a try with it on your side and post back with the results.

    Best regards,

    Mabel Mao

There is no problem with the URI. I used Postman to send POST requests many times successfully. I added the Compose action, but what is it for?

It has Click to download links but nothing happens when clicked.

    Hello All,

Sorry for this due to my bad understanding of REST and HTTP requests. The endpoints was expecting normal HTTP POST requests (Querystring format: var=value&var2=value...)

As you can see, Flow HTTP is sending a POST request but with a JSON payload while the server was trying to decode some normal querystring format.

    Thanks

(I am leaving this here, as it may save someone time in the future)
