Hello,

I would like through POWERBI creating a button in POWER AUTOMATE with the following action  "When you click on this button, a new email in OUTLOOK program opens with a pre-defined message and object... If I wish, I can send this email by clicking on the send button in OUTLOOK."

Is it possible to achieve this goal with POWER AUTOMATE ?

For the moment, I have created a button that allows me to send a pre-defined email to the addressee (without opened outlook).

If isn't possible with POWER AUTOMATE to achieve this, do you know of another way to implement this ? Maybe with POWER APPS?

Thank you beforehand.

Have a nice day.

    Hi,

    Hope everything is well.

May I ask if you want the user to customize the email or should they just send the pre-defined message?

If it's just a matter of sending or not sending the pre-defined message, you can use approvals:

After triggering the Power Automate Flow, you send an approval to the user (with custom responses Send Email / Cancel Email). The user can also approve it on outlook (in this case the image presented is on Teams)

    Have a nice day! 😀

    Hi Teixeira,

Thanks you to your answer ! It helps !

To answer to your question "May I ask if you want the user to customize the email or should they just send the pre-defined message?"

The user must be able to customize the email if it's necessary.

Here is what i have created in power automate

When I clicked on the button, I'm generating an email with a HTML table from Powerbi report. This HTML table can be send to our clients. This is why I would like to give to my colleagues the opportunity to comment the email before sending it !

    Thanks you in advance.

    Have a nice day !

    Hi,

    Thanks for the clarification! 😀

Through the solution I attached, you can use the comments provided by the user and add it after to the email.

    Flow:

    Email Received:

Bare in mind that you need to use markdowns in order to add rich formatting in Approvals.

Use markdown to format Power Automate approvals - Power Automate | Microsoft Docs

If you want something beyond adding comments to the information provided from PowerBI, I would suggest linking it to a PowerApp and developing it from there.

    Cheers 😀
