Hello,

Is it possible to create an "Flow approval" withTeams? So, that users in a channel can approve a request (not in a email)?

thx

    Hi @Anonymous,

You could try this by visiting the Approvals page within Flow. Then copy the Url and add a tab pointing at this URL.

    Hi @Anonymous,

Definitely, with newly introduced integration of Flow into Teams, there is this option available, details here https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/microsoft-flow-in-microsoft-teams/

    Hope you find your answer.

Thx for the feedback. i see how it should work.

At the moment i have the problem, that an approval was sent by mail but my "approval-tab" in teams is empty.

    Hi @Anonymous,

Approval tab works with modern approvals that were introduced last year - https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/introducing-modern-approvals/.

So if you use in your Flow just old fashioned email approval than this will not work for you. If you are using modern approval than it will work fine. Here is modern approval documentation - https://docs.microsoft.com/cs-cz/connectors/approvals/. The only probelm of modern approval is that it is not fully customizable especially the body for example if you use HTML syntax.

    Hope this will help you

I think I used the "modern approvals" in my flow (see picture).
The flow is working fine, that means I get the approval e-mail. But it doesn't show in Teams.

I suspect it is most likely a login problem in Teams. I've tried to restart Teams and the computer.

It also doesn't show my created flows in Teams...

I would say it is a problem with the teamsclient...i will try to reinstall flow in the client..

    Hi @Anonymous,

Do you login in Microsoft Flow with your Microsoft Flow account within Microsoft Teams?

When you firstly open Microsoft Flow within Microsoft Teams, you need to login in Microsoft Flow with your Office 365 account. I have made a test on my side and don't have the issue that you mentioned. My flow's configuration as below:2.JPG

The Approval shows up within Approval tab of Microsoft Teams as below:3.JPG

Please take a try to click "Flows" tab within Flow integration panel of Microsoft Team, check if all flows that you owned show up within it. If not, please check if you have signed in Microsoft Flow within your Microsoft Teams.

In addition, please take a try to clear cache of your browser and open your Microsoft Teams, then reopen Flow integration within your Microsoft Teams and sign in Microsoft Flow to check if the issue is solved.

More details about Flow integration in Microsoft Teams, please check the following article:

    https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/microsoft-flow-in-microsoft-teams/

    Best regards,

    Kris

That'd be two clicks more than the inline Submit button in an email...

I wish there will be actionable messages in Teams for approval so we don't need to go to Approval tab.
