Create Item with Multiple Selection and People/Group Columns

Hello,

I created a flow moves an item to another list after the status has been updated to a certain option. Problem is, while creating the flow to "Create" item, fields with multiple select and person/group keeps "Applying to Each" and creating multiple list items of the same item. How do I avoid apply to each?

    Hello @LaMakiry ,

    you must preprocess the values before you update the item using the 'Select' action. It's adding because multiple selection fields are an array, and as such Power Automate wants to process each value in that array one by one in a loop. But there's also an option to 'input entire array' when creating/updating items where you can input your own array in a specific format - the people picker like here and the multiple choice field like here.

    That way it won't add the 'Apply to each'.

    Hello @tom_riha thank you for replying! Unfortunately, that did not work. I am guessing it's because the list I'm creating the item in is also a person/group column. Any solutions for this?

    Hello @LaMakiry ,

    check the screenshots/links above again, people picker field expects different format of the array.

    {
    "Claims": "email@address"
    }

    Hello @tom_riha , yes, it's in the same format as you have above. The "Select" was not available in dynamic content so I had to "Compose" to get the value.
