Running a desktop flow from Power Automate cloud

Good day everyone,

I am new to PA and in the process of automating the process of recieving a mail with attachments -> downloading the attachments (PA Cloud) -> updating a file (PA Desktop) -> Refreshing new updated file in Power BI (PA Cloud).

Where my issue currently lies is when I want to trigger the PA Desktop flow I have set up to be triggered from PA Cloud while using "Direct to machine" connection.  I have my Domain and username sorted but unsure on what "Password" I need to use.

I have attached a screenshot from my error and just need to know if it is my PC password/ Microsoft password or any other password i need to enter?

Any advice would be appreciated

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

Those are the credentials you use to log in to the machine you want to run your desktop flows from.

If you machine is your own Laptop, your laptop login credentials are needed. If its a VM use VM credentials.

    Hi OkanAT,

I have tried to use all credentials but still the same error comes up, even deleted the machine and created a new one.  All comes back to the same error message

    For the domain name try:

    Open command prompt

Write: "whoami", copy this value and paste it in domain/username

for password use your windows password.
