Hi,

Do we know how many emails per hour/day can we send via Power Automate with a Shared Mailbox? I currently have a Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise license

Thanks,

Flowie

    Hi @Anonymous,

    Yes we do know here is the table I have pulled from the Exchange Online Limits docs:

    For future reference have a look at the connector page as they usually have the limitations listed there or at least a link to the service limits.

    @johnokeeffeDo you know if the recipient rate limit is credited to the user running the flow? or is it credited to the shared mailbox?

    Scenario 1. We run the flow under 5 different owners and the emails are sent within 1 shared mailbox. In the end, we have a rate limit of 50,000 recipients which is credited to the enterprise license.

    Scenario 2. We run the flow with 1 owner and emails are sent within 5 shared mailboxes. In the end, we have a rate limit of 50,000 recipients that is credited to shared mailboxes.

    @Anonymous

    From my own experience this is a per shared mailbox limit as the email is originating from the shared mailbox. As the user account is only used to check for authentication and permissions to send. Now I'm not an exchange expect at all so I would ask this question over at one of the exchange forums out there to double check if you want. Exchange - Microsoft Tech Community

    So in your Scenario 1 regardless of how many people use the flow the limit is still 10,000 per shared mailbox.

    In your Scenario 2 on the same assumption your are right as each shared mailbox has a limit of 10,000.
