Duplicates getting added when creating records from excel in CDS

I have an entity in the CDS contacts and an excel sheet with a list of contacts. If the contact NAME already exists in the contact entity I want the record to be skipped , but if it does not exist I want it to create a new record. The flow keeps creating duplicates . In this example I have 5 records in my spreadsheet and it has created each record 5 times.

Have you set up duplicate detection rules for contact set up to avoid duplicates getting created.

@ManishJain I think I know why I am getting duplicates. I am listing the cds records and also listing the excel records. Then in my condition it is comparing each line of the excel with each line of the CDS. So say for example if I have 5 rows in the cds and 1 that matches in the excel, it will create 4 new records as they do not match. I need a way to check if rows in excel already exist in the cds

Hi @rayjones79 ,

In that case you can filter excel data with cds and if there is any record found ignore that scenario.
