a comma is now added to my URL

I have a flow built that was working fine this afternoon.  I had to stop it to leave my office.  I tried to run it again and ran into this problem.

It enters a URL then scrapes a data point.  This is repeated.
The problem is that now when the URL is populated there is a comma added to the end, so I get an Error 404 -- Page not found.

Has anyone dealt with this?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @RonCinTN

    1. Are you using Launch Chrome/Edge action to open the URL?

Or are you entering the URL in the address bar - like Write text or Sendkeys etc?

    2. Where are you picking the URL from?

Excel, text file, Datatable variable, etc?

    3. After picking the URL, check with a Display box if it contains the comma before entering into the browser or is it coming after hitting the address

    Thanks for replying, @VJR .

As I said, it worked fine earlier in the day.

    1.  I am launching Chrome.

    2.  I am picking the URL from Excel.

    3.  It is adding the comma after hitting the address bar.  Nothing in the source or Power App has the comma.

I am wondering if it is a Chrome or Captcha security issue.  All the URLs are under the same main page.  Maybe one sensed me scraping and it is adding the comma to stop it.
I was put in "Google Jail" a while back due to searching and scraping ten of thousands of items, but I only searched and scraped about 150 items of this website list that worked great.  It was a problem when I returned.  There are about 800 items to get.

After getting the URL from Excel, use Trim Text on it and then pass it to open the url.

    @VJR -- thanks, again!

That worked, but I don't know how there was something added.  Again, it worked perfectly earlier in the day.  I had to stop it.  Then I ran it again later and it wouldn't work.

Always a good idea to CLEAN and TRIM the data, I guess.  🙂

    You're welcome.

Here I have shown how to make an invisible character visible using a hex editor, but yes in short better to Trim anything coming Excel.
