Hi

I have text as per below which I need to split so that a new line is started whenever there is a "."

Tried splitting using the . as delimiter, but it removes the . (which is required)

Current text

1DOE/JOHNMR .L/ABCDEF .R/TKNE HK1 1112300348396/1-DOE/JONMR .R/SEAT HK1 9F .R/FQTV XX 60041234-1DOE/JONMR 1SMITH/KARENMISS .L/GHIJK .R/TKNE HK1 1112300219029/2-1SMITH/KARENMISS .R/SEAT HK1 8A .R/CHKD HK1 011-1SMITH/KARENMISS

Required Output Text

1DOE/JOHNMR
.L/ABCDEF
.R/TKNE HK1 1112300348396/1-DOE/JONMR
.R/SEAT HK1 9F
.R/FQTV XX 60041234-1DOE/JONMR
1SMITH/KARENMISS
.L/GHIJK
.R/TKNE HK1 1112300219029/2-1SMITH/KARENMISS
.R/SEAT HK1 8A
.R/CHKD HK1 011-1SMITH/KARENMISS

Any help on how to achieve this (in either cloud or desktop flow) appreciated

Many thanks

    Hi @richardj5 ,

That's an interesting use case for sure!  Here's what I may try:

Start by replacing the "." with a ".~" using the replace() function in an expression.  That's going to add the "~" to every "." in your current text.

Split by "." - you already have this...

Next now replace "~" with the "." and you have your "." back in your data.
