Transfer a File using Power Automate via an On-Premise Gateway to an SFTP to server only available via a VPN

Hi All,

We have a requirement to monitor a SharePoint Document Library for new files. When a new file is created, we want to pick this file up and transfer it to an SFTP server which is only accessible via a VPN and therefore appears as an internal SFTP server. Monitoring and picking up the file fine but trying to SFTP internally appears impossible.

I believe we have two options, and both are not possible:

Using the SFTP Connector but pointing it to our On-Premise Gateway. This is not possible
Using the File System Connector via the On-Premise Gateway but with SFTP details. This is also not possible

Anyone experienced anything similar?

Have the same issue of wanting to transfer files to a SFTP server, where the server is only available via a VPN. Have you found any solution?

Afraid not - PA simply puts the details on a File Server and then we ran a PowerShell script to do the move..

Does anyone know if it still is not possible to use the On-Premise Gateway with PowerAutomate to connect to an internal sftp server?
