Throttled flow

I have a very simple flow: when anything on a SharePoint list changes, send an email.
The list has fewer than 300 items.
The email is only coming to me and I'm putting data from 14 columns into the body of the email.
The average duration of my flow if 2:25. When the activity is light, the flow run is around 240 ms. When multiple changes are made by users in a short period of time (say 5 list ID item changes in 5 minutes) the flow can take up to 15 minutes to run, re-try multiple times and even fail.
I've run the "Improve your flow" report and it doesn't really tell me where I can help it run faster.

Any suggestions?

Can you check under settings for your trigger, is it set to Split on or Split off?

If its off please turn it on so that it triggers once per change not within an array of changes.

If you can share a flow run that took that long it would help so we can see what is coming into the Trigger on one of the ones that took a long time.

The other issue is, if you are getting an array of changes (which is more than possible), then you have an issue because your email is not setup to run in a loop its just expecting 1 change to run it.

If these suggestions help resolve your issue, Please consider Marking the answer as such and also maybe a like.

    Thank you!
