Limiting the word count of chatbot answers

We are in the process of testing a chatbot that provides answers from source documents.
 
Currently, the answers are accurate but they are too developed, and we would like the ChatBot to give more concise answers by default.
 
We have tried mentioning this in the instructions, and adding a specific word limit for the answers, but it does not abide by it.

Any tips please?

    A common challenge with Copilot Studio is that instructions like "keep answers under 50 words" are treated as guidance, not hard limits, so the model may still generate longer responses. You can improve adherence by using very specific instructions such as: "Answer in a maximum of 2-3 sentences. Do not provide explanations, examples, or additional context unless explicitly requested." If strict length control is required, consider using a flow or custom action to summarize the response before returning it to the user. While this usually improves consistency, exact word limits are not guaranteed.
