I want to alter an image of a space craft to add battle damage

Hi,

I have an image of a space craft.

What I "want" is to modify that image by applying a name (where the original shows no name) and add significant battle damage.

Each time I provided my image to the app, and tried to prompt it for ex: "Modify this image to show the name "Molly B'damned" and to show significant combat damage"
I get an image of an entirely different craft.

Now, the damage is good, and the name is correct.....but the base image I provided is ignored and an entirely new craft image is created

Yes, I can make Alpha masks from that, and apply those to my base image in Photoshop...

......But, that is the step I hoped to avoid by using the app in the first place.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong??

You have no code, nothing, just some words to explain and somehow want us to tell you what's wrong and how to fix it.

It doesn't take any experience at all to understand we cannot help what we cannot see.
