Power automate sending duplicate emails

Hi all,
 
a bit of background: we are a rural supply company we supply products as well as services. We utilise Microsoft Forms and power automate to send through a service report. The flow is triggered by a new response being submitted on the form, which then sends the details collected in the form to my email. Occasionally and its more of an annoyance than anything, the flow will send two emails within a second of each other. I can see by going 28 day run history that it happens very quickly and close together, so I know there isn't two flows operating without my knowledge, it is the one flow sending two emails within seconds of each other after one response was submitted. I wondered if service may be an issue as it is quite often utilised on farms in my area, however this is also happening in areas with good signal. Has anyone had this specific issue before and worked out how to fix it?

    Can you check if the user did click twice to submit the Form? In case the form is allowing multiple times sending replies, a user can submit more than once. Sometimes, I'm also in doubt if I submitted correctly and send it a second time.

    I have asked our service technician who uses the from and he doesn't believe he is double clicking the submit button. This was something we had thought about previously and tested the theory and don't believe this is the case.

    I have literal plug and play knowledge of Power Automate, but I've seen typically these duplicate emails have something to do with "apply to each" conditions. Now I couldn't tell you how to fix that, but the Terminate trigger typically works for me. Can you end your flow with the Terminate trigger and see if that ends the duplicate emails? Worth a try :) Good luck!

    It's a tricky one to debug and pinpoint the exact cause. One approach is to try replicating the same flow into a new one. You can copy the existing flow, then turn off the old one. This ensures a fresh trigger is associated with the new flow. See if that resolves the issue.
