Power automate reporting ACL errors when configuring actions

When trying to use a dropdown box to configure actions reporting ACL error attached. This happens for a number of dropdowns that acces information from forms, sharepoint, BUT ALSO the type of approval I'd like to run. This means the issue is not with accessing information we can control and configure access to, but the settings of the actions too.
This impacts Get Items, Create File, Create Item, Start and wait for approval amongst others.
This is intermittent, I've believe that one cause is removing an automatically applied apply to each action, but it has happened without this as well.
Only fix is to delete and start the flow again.
If Microsoft are unwilling or unable to provide working software should we be spending money on them just because they have a monopoly or is there a working solution out there?

It would help to see the actual Flows, and specifically when it fails.

You mention a drop down, so are you using the OnChange event to run a Flow?

Your picture hasn't come through and may never :-( so try to paste it in. But really what would help is the flow run itself that fails and a bit more detail on how its triggered since you said drop down and flows do not have drop downs.

    Cheers

This isn't an issue running the flow, this issue happens when trying to build it. I'll use my experience with the Approval action to describe the issue.

I add the approval action, open the settings, use the drop down offered to select Approve - first response. But I don't. This drop down doesn't work. It says I have error 403 caused by an ACL issue not being able to access the data required for the dropdown.

So for the sharepoint actions I thought that maybe there was an issue with our permissions. But due to this happening when trying to access information related to the action, not our data, I think the error is either inaccurate or it is an ACL for the approval function not working, which I don't have access to.

And you get drop down menus in power automate all the time when creating a flow, like for sites, document libraries, and for what type of action you want from the action you've selected. And whilst you can input custom data into the sharepoint and similar actions to get around this, this isn't possible with the type of action for an approval.

Should say I get this error on multiple actions, once this happens in a flow, it will always happen for that action, the only way to get the action working again is to star the flow from scratch and hope it doesn' reocurr, which considering it did on 4 flows in one day makes the solution impossible to use.

Ah, I see what you mean.

When I get this, I personally swap to the old Ux and most of the time it stops happening. If you Toggle (top right), I know its bleh but it works for me.
