Microsoft Purview Communication Compliance and Power Automate Integration

Under Microsoft Purview (https://purview.microsoft.com/), there is a feature called Communication Compliance. Within this, we can create policies to monitor employees’ emails and Teams messages.

I would like to use Power Automate to analyze the alerts generated by each policy and then resolve or take appropriate action on them.

You might be able to use the Purview Audit Log for this, specifically the ComplianceSupervisionExchange record type (68):

Via the Microsoft Purview Audit Search Graph API endpoint you can query for these records via a HTTP request in a Power Automate cloud flow.

    Happy to help out 😁

I’ve been looking into something very similar and had the same question about whether this kind of workflow is actually possible with Power Automate. Being able to automatically analyze and act on Communication Compliance alerts would be really useful, especially when you’re dealing with a high volume and need a more efficient way to triage or respond to them. It kind of feels like using a Morse code audio translator where the signal was clearly sent and decoded once, but then you keep getting repeated or mismatched outputs afterward, making you unsure which message is actually correct. You can learn more about it here. From what I’ve seen so far, it’s not entirely clear how much access Power Automate has to those alerts or whether there are built-in connectors or APIs that expose that data cleanly. I also have the same question about whether this requires custom integration or if there’s a more straightforward approach within the Microsoft ecosystem. Would be great to hear if anyone has managed to set this up or found a workaround.
