Thanks for reporting this. We were able to reproduce the same behavior on our end in the new Copilot Studio publishing experience.
Observed behavior: After entering a value in Teams + Microsoft 365 > Edit details > Developer name and successfully publishing the agent, reopening the details pane shows the placeholder text "Your developer name" again, and the agent is displayed in Teams with "Your developer name" as the creator.
We also tested republishing multiple times and clearing/re-entering the MPN ID, but the issue persists. Since the behavior is reproducible across environments and is not specific to your configuration, this appears to be a product-side issue with the new publishing experience rather than a setup problem. At this time, there does not appear to be a known workaround to force the value to persist.
