Hello Copilot Studio Product Group,
We would like to report an inconsistency between the classic and new Copilot Studio authoring experiences regarding Dataverse knowledge sources.
According to Microsoft Learn documentation, Dataverse tables can be added as a knowledge source for Copilot Studio agents. However, when using the new Copilot Studio experience, the Dataverse option does not appear under Knowledge > Add knowledge.
In the new experience:
The behavior was reproduced across multiple environments and was observed by both the customer and Microsoft support engineers. The following prerequisites were already verified:
Switching back to the classic Copilot Studio experience allows Dataverse to be added successfully as a knowledge source. The customer confirmed that this workaround functions as expected.
Any clarification from the Product Group would be greatly appreciated, as the current behavior appears inconsistent with the documented Dataverse knowledge-source capability.

I tested with two agents:
For now, the only workaround is to use Dataverse tools such as "List rows". We will have to wait for the Dataverse knowledge source connector to return in the new experience, unless Microsoft intends to promote the tools-based approach instead.
I hope this information helps you.
