Hi All,

I have created the following flow to refresh a spreadsheet using Run Script but it isn't updating it, when I test it using the test option it work but the recurrence isn't saving it. What am I missing?

Do you mean your recurrence isn't saving the settings you are configuring?
    What is your recurrence schedule?

Sorry I meant that it seems to refresh the excel file but the refresh isn't updating and saving the excel file.

It still shows the modified date was a few days ago.

@jbrines Do you see the successful runs listed in your flow details page?

If you click on one of the timestamps that says Succeeded (not test succeeded) and expand the Run Script action, does it say in the Outputs that the script was successful?

Thanks for coming back so quickly with that. It looks like your flow is operating correctly, so the issue will be with the script. You can find the correct forum for Office Script questions here.

Hi @Tomac the thing is is that if I run the script with excel open it work, if I run the flow in test mode it works. It only doesn't work when it is scheduled to run.

@jbrines Does a user have this excel file open during the scheduled run time? If so, Power Automate won't be able to lock the file for editing and the script won't be able to make changes.

    Hi @Tomac ,

No one has open when I am currently testing it
