Power Automate can’t identify UI elements in WPF app with Telerik controls

We’re trying to automate a desktop workflow for a Windows application built with WPF and Telerik controls (multiple forms, graphical controls, and navigation). When we attempt to spy/record or select UI elements in Power Automate, the tool fails to recognize the controls. This is blocking our PoC that’s planned to use Power Automate.

Ask:
Are there any supported approaches, configurations, or custom libraries that enable reliable identification of Telerik-based WPF controls in Power Automate? We’re specifically looking for a long‑term, localization‑friendly solution.

Not in scope:
We do not want to use OCR or coordinate‑based methods, as we need a durable solution that will hold up across UI changes and localization.

(Optional) Environment details:

Any guidance, best practices, or references would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • Power Automate for desktop version:
  • Windows version/edition:
  • .NET / WPF runtime version:
  • Telerik UI for WPF version:
  • App run mode (standard/elevated), DPI scaling, multi‑monitor:

Try with MSAA capturing mode. So when capturing UI element select the three dots and Capturing mode: MSAA

Also sometimes the "Recorder" can work

As I mentioned, this is not a web application; we are working on a Windows-based application built with WPF and Telerik controls. Do you have an alternative approach to identify these elements?
