Hey Forum,

I'm trying to automate a process from a Microsoft Forms to Microsoft List using Power Automate.

I have multiple options in the form to add a date, branching away and leaving date fields empty.

I believe the issue is a null value from the empty field.

Whichever field I leave empty is where the process stops when being tested.

My experience is just this project, and I've hid a dead end with a work around (other than making the date a text input)

Any help is greatly welcomed,

Hi @MB-04030216-0,

You can check the answer for empty values and return a null value with an expression.

Below is an example. It uses the if, empty and null functions. Replace the question id by your specific question id.

if(empty(outputs('Get_response_details')?['body/r8bac1fdcf80f43c2812a17f2da4e9002']), null, outputs('Get_response_details')?['body/r8bac1fdcf80f43c2812a17f2da4e9002'])
