Yes, this can be normal.
With 235 tagged documents, 31 collections, and around 20 fields, AI Builder training can take a while simply because the model is quite large and complex. It also runs in shared Microsoft capacity, so sometimes it gets queued or slowed down depending on system load.
It’s usually not a licensing issue,licensing mainly affects capacity, not how fast training runs.
Possibly If you reached the capacity limit, then there might be a throttling
If it’s just taking time, that’s expected. But if it’s stuck for many hours without any progress, then it’s worth checking for a service or capacity issue.
