I've been using a flow to send emails with a custom attachement for a number of years via excel. In the recent past I've got this message using the automation:

Fine, so I go to the Automate tab and use what it's suggesting but get this message.

Anyone got ideas of how to fix this?
I have the same question (0)

The issue is likely caused by the deprecation of the Microsoft Power Automate for Excel add-in and a transition to the newer integration inside Microsoft Power Automate.

    Try these quick steps:

    • Restart Excel and sign out/in of your Microsoft account

    • Update Excel to the latest version

    • Go to Automate tab → Power Automate → Refresh / Reconnect

    • Clear Office add-in cache (can fix loading errors)

    • Check if your organization hasn’t blocked the add-in via admin policies

    •
    •
    •

If it still fails, recreate the flow directly in Power Automate (web version) instead of relying on the Excel add-in, since the old one is being phased out.

    Hi,

Recreate your flow using Excel Online Business connector don’t reuse the old add in flow
Store your file in OneDrive or SharePoint local Excel files won’t work properly.
Reconnect your email step Send Email V2 and test again.
