Issue encountered: The barcode reader cannot scan QR codes.

Our department uses a Power App for site inspections by scanning QR codes on-site to verify checks. The app had been working without any issues until today.
We have encountered an issue where users on iPhones running iOS 26.5.2 cannot use the QR code scanning function. Specifically, the camera fails to detect QR codes (as shown in the attached image).
Troubleshooting steps already taken (Issue persists):
  • Reinstalled the Power Apps application
  • Restarted the iPhone
Notes: Users on older iOS versions and Android devices are able to scan QR codes normally without any issues.
Could you please advise on a solution or workaround for this issue?

    Can also confirm we have the SAME problem in our organization. But we believe this is a PowerApps issue that was introduced in a recent build. iPadOS 18, 25, 26 all suffering same problem.
     
    We are locked into a max app version of 3.26073.7. We tried to adjust the authoring version of the app that uses the Barcode Reader control, but no use. The PowerApps version does not change.
