Hi,

for that you need a "Desktop Flow". Such flows act like humans (rpa) and process predefined steps.

Hi,

Follow these steps:
Step 1: Launch Chrome and Open Power BI Dashboard URL
Use Launch new Chrome action.
URL: Your PBI Dashboard URL (e.g., https://app.powerbi.com/...)
Make sure “Activate” window option is selected.
Step 2: Apply Today's Date Filter on Dashboard
Use Send keys or UI Automation to interact with the date filter on the dashboard.
Option A: If your dashboard has a date picker, use UI Automation > Click UI element to open it.
Option B: Use Send keys to type or select today's date in the filter.
Use Get current date action.
Format date as needed (e.g., dd-MM-yyyy or M-d-yyyy) using Format date/time action.
Use Send keys to input today's date in the filter field.
Use Click UI element or Send keys to apply or refresh the filter.
Step 3: Take Screenshot of the Dashboard
Use Capture screenshot action.
Select the Chrome window or the dashboard area.
Save screenshot to your OneDrive folder.
To save with dynamic name:
Use Get current date (e.g., dd-MM-yyyy).
Build file path like: OneDrive\Reports\Ageing report 3-06-2025.png.
Use Save screenshot as action to save the image with this filename.
Step 4: Launch Outlook
Use Launch Outlook action.
This will open Outlook desktop app.
Step 5: Draft an Email with Screenshot and Dashboard URL
Use Send Email action (Outlook).
To: Enter the email addresses (can be dynamic or from Excel/List).
Subject: e.g., Ageing Report - 3-06-2025.

Body (HTML or plain text):
Hello Team,

Please find attached the screenshot of today's Power BI dashboard.

You can also access the live report here: Power BI Dashboard

Best Regards,
Your Name
Attach the screenshot saved earlier.
To embed image in body, you may need to add it as an inline attachment with Content-ID "dashboard_screenshot" (check Outlook action capabilities in PAD; if not supported, attach the image normally).
Step 6: Send the Email
Use Send Email action to send the draft with all content and attachments.

If I have answered your question, please mark it as the preferred solution. If you like my response, please give it a Thumbs Up.
Regards,
Riyaz
