I have developed a chatbot for a MVP and when I want to test it in Teams, I can add the chatbot as a chat in my teams but it doesn't work, I start chatting with the chatbot and doesn't reply.
If you are using the Demo instance, i don't think you need a License to use.
As you can see in my below comment, i used the Demo Environment and the can achieve the same. I'm using the teams of the demo user.
Did you tried to publish the Copilot in your teams. Based on option you choose, sometimes teams Admin needs to provide approval to make it appear in the Teams for all the users.
I have this same issue. I am using a demo version at the moment and I was under the impression that it was because of that. My copilot works fine in copilot studio. I published it, then went into channels and enabled teams. After that I go into the teams channel, click on availability options, copy the link and open it in Teams (I can open it as an app or add it to a conversation - no problem). The problem is once it's been added into teams, whether as an app or into a conversation, it never replies. I've tried @copilot name then question, no luck, just a question, no luck.
Is it true you have to have a copilot license in order to use this functionality?
I also can't open a demo website for my copilot (separate topic I know), I've tried all the online troubleshooting to no available - I'm wondering if that too is because I'm using a demo version.
Can you please help to provide more details on what steps you have carried out?
I have created many chatbots that works on teams recently.
Thanks.
