Using filtered Dataverse Table as a Knowledge Source

Posted on by 6
Hello!

I am trying to use Dataverse as the knowledge source for the Copilot to build a custom Copilot for a healthcare solution. The out of the box Dataverse knowledge source takes the complete table as the knowledge source and shows inactive and unwanted records as well.

However, when I try to use power platform connector, "List rows from selected environment", I can add the filters, however, the bot doesn't use it or recognize it when prompted.

Could you please explain how to achieve this or how to use the power platform connector as the knowledge source?

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried calling custom prompts with Dataverse data? There is a 1K row limitation, and right now not very sophisticated filtering capabilities, but give it a try: Use your own data in a prompt | Microsoft Learn
