Power Automate Flow Failure – Invalid Parameters & Out of Memory Issue

Hi,

I’m having an issue with a Power Automate flow that was working correctly until the end of March.

Currently, the flow is failing with over 173 error messages related to invalid parameters. What’s unusual is that some of these parameters appear in actions where I did not configure them, and they were not part of the original action schema before.

I attempted to fix the issue by editing individual actions, but the experience is unstable. After a short time (approximately 2 minutes), the page crashes with an “Out of Memory” error, which prevents further troubleshooting.

To isolate the problem, I also tried rebuilding the flow from scratch and splitting it into multiple smaller child flows. However, the same issue occurs consistently - after adding approximately the 10th step, the flow starts throwing invalid parameters errors again, followed by the page crashing.

I have been dealing with this issue since Easter, and it is significantly blocking my work.

Summary of the issue:

  • Flow was functioning without errors until end of March
  • Now returns 173+ “invalid parameters” errors
  • Unexpected parameters appear in actions (not configured and not previously present)
  • Editing the flow leads to page crash with “Out of Memory” error
  • Rebuilding the flow and splitting into child flows does not resolve the issue (errors reappear after ~10 steps)

This essentially makes the flow unusable at the moment. Has anyone experienced something similar or is aware of any recent backend changes or schema updates that could be causing this behavior? Any advice on how to restore or recover a stable version of the flow would be greatly appreciated.

This issue is most likely caused by connector schema changes that have corrupted the internal JSON definition of your flow.

The “invalid parameters” errors and Out-of-Memory crashes occur because the designer cannot reconcile outdated or hidden parameters.

The most effective solution is to export the flow, clean the definition JSON, recreate connections, and rebuild the flow incrementally in a clean environment to avoid reintroducing corrupted metadata.
