Description: In this kickoff event we would like to share information and discuss about IT related sustainability events. A major focus in this first meeting is made on sustainability issues related to e-waste and datacenters. We are very happy to announce that we got two guest speakers who are absolute experts in this field. First, Dr. Ruediger Kuehr, the director of the Sustainable Cycles Programme at the United Nations university and second Michael Schulman from supermicro who is publishing an annual research paper on sustainability issues related to datacenters.
