It is Power Apps language and it a bit of a mixture of a lot of things plus quite a few unique (to it) commands.
I was reasonable adept at VBA and SQL and had a fairly significant leaning curve when I started using it.If you start using Power Automate and /or Power BI, you will find two more syntax sets to learn.

The name of the language that you use to write formula in a canvas app is called "Power Fx". This language derrives mostly from Excel, and it shares many of the same functions.
Recently, Microsoft made "Power Fx" open source. The strategic direction is to make this a common language for the Power Platform, in order to help prevent app builders from needing to learn multiple languages.
The "Power Fx" site provides a great resource in terms of describing the language.
